Appendix 3 Film Developing Tube

The sheet film developing tubes described in Chapter 6 (Figure 6–8) are available from Darkroom Innovations, Inc. (P.O. Box 19450, Fountain Hills, AZ 85269-9450; phone: [phone]), but you can build a useful set for yourself if you’re reasonably handy with tools. One simple design is shown here, but there are many possible variations.

The material can be either black ABS or opaque gray schedule-40 PVC plumbing pipe (don’t use the more common white or ivory-colored material—it’s translucent).
