Chapter 12. Hack the iPhone
As this book was being completed, the iPhone Software Development Kit (SDK) was released. In the future, the iPhone will have applications by third-party developers, so owners will have plenty of choices of games, business applications, blogging tools, and more. The existence of third-party applications won’t mean that jailbreaking your phone will be useless, Apple is planning on exerting a fair amount of control over just what applications will be available. So there will very likely be good reasons to hack your iPhone in the future.
