How Big Data Will Change Your Job, Your Company, and Your Industry

Big data is such a broad business resource that it is sometimes difficult to envision all the ways that it can affect an organization and an industry. Therefore, I’ll start this chapter by describing several future scenarios for how big data might yield a transformational impact on a company or industry. It’s also likely to change the nature of work for many individual job roles, as the scenarios illustrate.
