Prologue
As I was contemplating retirement from Georgia Tech in the summer of 2012, I called Dinesh Verma with a question. Dinesh was Dean of the School of Systems and Enterprises (SSE), as well as Executive Director of the Systems Engineering Research Center (SERC), both at Stevens Institute of Technology. I had a contract with SERC and wanted to continue this research but would no longer be at a SERC university. Was there any way to continue?
