In this chapter, we will look at how to train and utilize machine learning models using BigQuery directly.

BigQuery ML (BQML) became generally available on Google Cloud Platform in May of 2019. The aim is to open machine learning models to a wider audience of users. Accordingly, BQML allows you to specify and run machine learning models directly in SQL.
