5.2. BIM and RFIs

Building information modeling and requests for information (RFIs) are somewhat of a new science. In the realm of architecture and engineering, BIM has begun to take a foothold in the industry, and the processes related to BIM are beginning to be shaped. In the construction sector, however, BIM's value during construction to closeout remains somewhat ambiguous (Figure 5.1).
