While some of the practices included here have an overall strategy towards the digital, project development and integration is unique at UNStudio, or United Network Studio, as the practice is interested in the adoption of new digital tools and building information modelling as a way of producing novel possibilities and generating new types of architecture. The practice resists having an overall strategy to digital design techniques as its clients are increasingly diverse and bring different opportunities, however, the ‘use of three-dimensional modeling in UNStudio’s practice has been central to the active development of ideas and concepts, along with creating complex and challenging geometries and organizations’.1

In describing these operations, the firm uses the term attainability.
