Abstract

Two of the most common categories of type 2 diabetes mellitus are DM1 and DM2, which present two dangerous scenarios for patients with this disease. On the one hand, hypoglycemia (blood glucose values below 70 mg/dl) and, on the other hand, hyperglycemia (blood glucose values above 70 mg/dl). Commonly, these scenarios are caused by poor treatment due to incorrect assessment of the patient or by poor follow-up on medical indications. New treatments other than conventional ones would greatly help to improve the quality of life of patients. These approaches are carried out by means of artificial intelligence.
