Assays Applied to Both Health and Sports
Abstract
It is clear that the more we know about how growth factors mediate modern biochemistry, the more it can be applied to augment the repair of diseased and damaged tissues. It is also possible that competitive advantage could be linked with the usage of growth factors, cytokines, hormones, and steroids in otherwise normal population of users. In this chapter, it is presented how the landscape has changed for both athletes and sports medicine in general.
