Towards Direct Electrochemical Control of Gene Expression Level
Abstract
This chapter introduces the design of a strategy towards the implementation of direct electrochemical control of the gene expression level in the paradigmatic case of photosynthetic bacteria, as seen in the previous chapter. The chosen approach will be to dissect the problem in its key steps, identifying a path to the achievement of the stated goals consisting of possible operative solutions to each single problem. As will be clearly evident, a number of solutions are indeed already at hand deriving from diverse scientific and technological contexts.
