Abstract

Biosensors have attracted much more interest in the field of medicines and nanotechnology, and serve a great deal of interest in various fields. They have evolved into effective tools for analysing biological materials providing numerous advantages. The unprecedanted evolution of tissue engineering necessitates the use of the best analytical techniques for precise, thorough, and authentic genuine surveillance of the major attributes, improving the overall quality of health indicators. Biosensors are thus most useful instruments for the diagnosis of disease as they are sensitive, discriminatory and expeditious where they help in monitoring with the help of cutting edge biosensing tools. They are incorporated into transducer that are placed inside the body in terms of chips for detecting analytes such as drugs, neurotransmitters, toxic compounds and other compounds. The chapter describes the application of biosensors based on tissue. A detailed ...
