Chapter 23. Adding Interactive Viewing Features

Some reports are long and complex, which can make it difficult for readers to locate and use the information that they need. If these reports will be viewed online, you can add interactive features that help users to navigate and explore reports.

Hyperlinks and tables of contents offer different ways for a user to find information or drill down to more detailed data. Interactive chart features enable you to customize the data that a chart displays and provide links to additional information. When designing an HTML report, you can add interactive elements common to web pages, such as buttons and check boxes.
