Configuring BizTalk and SSL (Transport)
Secure transport can be provided by HTTPS, which is a combination of the Hypertext Transfer Protocol (HTTP) with Secure Sockets Layer (SSL)/Transport Level Security (TLS) protocol to provide encrypted communication and secure identification of a network web server. SSL provides secure connections by allowing two applications connecting over a network connection to authenticate the identity and by encrypting the data exchanged between the applications. Authentication allows a server and optionally a client to verify the identity of the application on the other end of a network connection.
