Optimizing Your Asset for Better Rendering Performance

Now that you have successfully applied 3D modeling to your asset, it’s time to make it lighter in terms of geometry to render it more easily inside your project, game, or metaverse world. To do that, we’ll need to see whether our model has an excessive number of faces, and if it does, we’ll learn how to deal with such cases.

This process is optional, though, as most inorganic models tend to need much less or even no optimizing (depending on the purpose); hence, this process is only applicable to models containing more geometry than necessary for the object’s purpose, size, and importance in-game.
