The starting ink

Our space traveler's first inks will segment him into major features with a medium line weight. Later, this will help with creating fills that separate him by major color areas. As it's part of the final render, you can see the results of all the following sections in ch08_alien_final.blend:

  1. In Object mode, move your draft GP object away from the camera on the Y axis by .01.
  2. Add a new blank Grease Pencil object, and rename it Final. Since the Draft object is behind it, the strokes on Final appear first.
