Painting weights

The baby dragon's weights are best tweaked with a painterly approach. Weight Paint Mode in Blender allows you to fix errors with a brush-based interface and if you're familiar with the other brush modes (such as sculpting and Grease Pencil), much of the workflow will be second nature to you. Weight painting displays weights of the selected bone from 0% to 100%, with a color ramp where blue is 0% and red is 100%. Problems can then be solved with an immediate click or a gradual buildup with a weak brush, masked via selected faces, or combined with direct vertex selection in Edit Mode:
