Clean, finalized animation can now be completed on top of our pencil test. By relying on simple shapes and cloned keyframes, we can also maximize interpolation to get lots of frames done via tweens:
- Create a new layer called Head, below your Draft layer.
- Switch to Draw Mode, activate the Thickness profile, then use the Curve tool to trace the head on frame 1, using E to extrude the four sides.
I often hit C to switch between a single curve or two beziers, and I often leave the two beziers untouched for straight lines. I also adjust the line weight while drawing with F and re position while drawing with G. Lastly, add a nose.
