Arcs, timing, and squash and stretch

We'll get more cartoon out of the bounces with squash and stretch: squashing the ball when it impacts the floor, and stretching it out before and after the impact. Timing will also come into play; the ground hits will happen rapidly, with more frames used during the ball's flight in the air:

  1. Go to frame 29, two frames before the ball hits. In Edit Mode, move your ball to the midpoint between the top and bottom of the bounce, so that it follows the guide arc. Scale it to stretch toward its impact.
  2. Go to frame 33, two frames after the ball hits. Once again, move the ball in Edit Mode to the midpoint between the top and bottom of the arc, and follow your arc guide.
