The theater and usher

The theater and usher will also rely on simple, readable shapes for the usher kiosk, movie posters, and reader board. We'll choose carefully when to use a new layer versus a new Grease Pencil object, hence allowing us to take advantage of layer masks:

  1. Create a new Grease Pencil object and name it theater, with just the city_fills material. Give it two layers named Theater and Shadow.
  2. In the Layers panel's adjustments tab, put both layers' Tint Factor at 1 and set a Tint Color of light purple.
  3. On the theater layer, draw out a simple theater shape with the Curve tool, including a middle silhouette for the marquee roof.
