I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Modeling the base of the house
Before I start modeling my house, I'm going to take a moment and reflect on my plan. You are not limited to just the images you imported into Blender. You can refer to images outside Blender as well as your own memory and recollection. Looking at another image, I notice that the room to the right of the house is actually inset a bit from the main structure:
