3D modeling with extrusions

Now that we have selected a single face of our 3D model, it is time to start using some powerful modeling tools. Have you ever heard of the extrude tool in 3D? That is one of the most used options to create polygonal models for all types of projects.

Blender has several options to create extrusions. If you paid attention to your Toolbar on the left, you may have noticed that a few options changed when you set the work mode to Edit.

In the Toolbar, you will see the three following options to work with extrudes:

  • Extrude Region
  • Extrude Individual
  • Extrude to cursor
