5.1 Model Parameters

Iteration is the repetition of a process to generate a (possibly unbounded) sequence of outcomes. Each process repetition is a single iteration, and each iteration’s outcome is the starting point of the next iteration. In mathematics and computer science, iteration (along with the related technique of recursion) is a standard element of algorithms. The results of 100 iterations simulating the DVFS model using a data stream are presented. Figure 5.1 depicts the simulation structure and tools used to represent the model’s components.
