HR executives all over the world will tell you that keeping good people is critical to the success of any organization. Finding those people falls squarely in the HR purview. However, keeping them is a total team effort. It is a leadership effort. And it requires authentic leadership.

Thus far, we have focused on what it takes to be an authentic leader. It can be taught, learned and developed at the individual level. But more importantly, it can and must be cultivated at the organizational level to have the desired impact on retention.
