InternetBeans Express in Detail

The perfect world is the merging of JSPs for HTML presentation with placeholders or tags to replace with dynamic data. JBuilder’s InternetBeans Express provides this functionality to both JSPs and servlets. You can use a static HTML template file (not a JSP file), which is then processed by a PageProducer to merge in the dynamic data. If you are partial to using JSPs for templates, you can use a 1.1 tag library extension to accomplish this also. These custom tags relate ultimately to a real component, which includes the functionality to replace the tag with appropriate dynamic data. Many different components are available. Table 19.1 lists the different components provided by InternetBeans Express.
