WSDL Component of Web Services
This section discusses the Web Services Definition Language (WSDL) component of Web services. The sections of a WSDL document will be explained, along with some samples of describing a simple Web service. A WSDL document is an XML document that adheres to the schema defined within the document. In other words, a WSDL document is an XML file with a schema that it uses for validation. A WSDL document is the roadmap for potential clients (called consumers) to follow to access the Web service.
