So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

Katie was fed up. For most of her life, Katie had fought a losing battle with obesity. A love affair with sweets and two pregnancies had added over 129 pounds to her small frame. The pounds, however, masked a fierce determination to change. Three years ago, Katie decided that she would lose the weight on her terms.
And she decided to share her struggle to lose weight with strangers.
She started her new blog, Runs for Cookies, on Google’s popular free Blogger service. The goal was simple: deputize her readers in her war on obesity. The blog’s name reflected her desire to have fun while losing weight. Running would burn calories while leaving enough wiggle room for her passion—cookies.
