CONCLUSION
My seatmate on a flight from California to Chicago was a retired CEO from the banking industry. We had been on a fun golfing trip and were just shooting the breeze. As we discussed leadership, he emphasized, “Leadership is everything.” I asked him to explain, expecting him to tell me about how leaders create vision, strategy, and drive results.
