HANG AROUND ENOUGH MARKETERS and you'll eventually hear the phrase “Content is king.” It may be a cliché, but this one holds some weight. Your content will not only help you build awareness for your brand, but it will also position you as an authority in your field.
The more content you have out there, the easier it becomes for your prospects to find and recognize you. The more relevant and valuable your content is, the more people will trust you.
When you publish content that is informative, relevant, and valuable to your market, you will attract prospects and over time turn those prospects into clients and raving fans, which is exactly what you're trying to achieve. Content comes in many forms. There is content that your audience can read, like blog posts, social media updates, articles, eBooks, reports, white papers, and so on. There's content they can hear like podcasts and audio interviews, which are always popular. Then there's content they can watch like a video or webinar. Finally, there's content they can experience, such as seeing you speak at an event. There is no right or wrong form of content. Just use the mediums that you're most comfortable with. Play to your strengths and the media your target audience prefers.
