Your purpose
So far, we have talked about your talents and your values. Your talents are the bedrock on which your brand is built. You can discover them but you cannot change them. Your values are the foundations. Although they are below the surface, they determine the size and shape of the building. Buildings also have a purpose. A building can be an office, a fire station, a house, a hospital, a theatre or a laboratory, for example.
Our next topic is your purpose: why you are on the planet. This is a fundamental issue. Small children have been known to point to an adult and ask, ‘What is he for?’
