Bringing a new human-computer interaction paradigm to life is no easy task. The history of innovation is littered with products that were “ahead of their time." Often these “failed" innovations contained a number of innovative attributes that found their way into subsequent successful products. Alternatively, these innovations were successful in niche markets but did not reshape an entire industry. Some simply failed and were forgotten.
