SCREENWRITER SPOTLIGHT #14: Isaac Gonzalez

Isaac Gonzalez is a Mexican-American comedy writer who was born and raised in Oceanside, California. The son of Mexican immigrants, he received his B.A. degree in Communications from UCLA in 2008. Isaac is a proud alumnus of NBC’s prestigious Writers on the Verge Program. He is currently a Story Editor on Legends of Chamberlain Heights, an animated sitcom on Comedy Central. Past credits include Community, Welcome to the Family and Seth MacFarlane’s Bordertown. Most recently, he sold a pilot to NBC about a dysfunctional Mexican family called The Great Brown Hope. Isaac is repped by CAA. When not writing, you can find him in Echo Park watching sports, gambling and eating burritos.
