Born in Queens, New York, to Argentine immigrants, Danny Tolli had a passion for storytelling at an early age. Following his graduation from NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts, he moved to Los Angeles to participate in the National Hispanic Media Coalition’s TV writing fellowship. Danny’s big break came at Vin Diesel’s production company One Race Films, where he wrote an episode for the company’s first foray into episodic series, Crackle’s The Ropes. Shortly thereafter, Danny worked for Kevin Williamson as his assistant on the hit shows The Vampire Diaries and The Following.
