From entry to exit, the job description is ubiquitous in the life of an employee.
Jeanette is an HR manager with a traditional outlook. Her training budget is almost entirely spent on technical training. Jeanette expects employees to learn, follow, and be accountable for sticking to the literal requirements of their job description. She judges success by how compliant people are in following the company’s systems and processes. When a dilemma arises, Jeanette wants employees to refer to the comprehensive procedures manual she calls “The Bible.”
