“Okay, she’s tough, but if Miranda were a man no one would notice anything about her, except how great she is at her job,” says Andy Sachs the fictional assistant in the movie The Devil Wears Prada. The movie is a comedy about working for a boss from Hell based on a best selling novel by the same name. It is fiction, but according to Laura Weisberger, the author, many of the scenes are based on her own experiences working for Vogue magazine’s editor-in-chief Anna Wintour and the experiences of other friends.
