This chapter is about showing up curious and choosing to care about others in spite of obstacles and pressure. This next part is “in living color,” exemplifying what you’ve learned in the previous chapters while walking you through a one-day event we designed for an organization that needed to bridge a tremendous gap. We want to show you how we flipped the traditional script to bring together people who are full of distrust and polarized—unable to make critical decisions with any sense of unity. Our aim was to shift them to a place where a new level of curiosity and care could be enacted for one another so that they could connect, communicate, and collaborate more effectively.
