So … what are we to make of all this? What are the keys to help us recruit, develop, and retain quality staff in each age group? We have some suggestions.

Key #1: One size does not fit all: Tailor your message

Across the generations a pattern emerged during our interviews: All age groups want respect. All age groups desire flexibility in work arrangements. However, this desire for respect and flexibility manifests itself in different ways from generation to generation.
