Eighty-nine per cent of the The Times’ top 100 graduate employers use social media to promote graduate opportunities (High Flier Research, 2016). With 1.09 billion Facebook users and 310 million daily Twitter users and an average of 400 million LinkedIn users (Source Statista), it’s a cost-effective choice for employers to access their target market through social media for less than the traditional methods of advertising.
