CHAPTER 13LED Light Sword
HOW WOULD YOU LIKE TO MAKE YOUR OWN COMPACT LED light sword to fend off unwanted enemies? The project in this chapter shows you how to build an LED light sword that utilizes a PIC Microcontroller to create a slightly different sequencer effect. The effect generated when you activate the sword is a rising column of light, which starts at the bottom of the sword and then rises to the top. The software code that you program into the microcontroller also strobes the eight LEDs very quickly to allow a special “clash” facility.
