CHAPTER 16A Multicolor POV LED Circuit:Backpack Illuminator
THE PROJECT IN THIS CHAPTER SHOWS YOU HOW TO make a cool, eye-catching, multicolor flashing display that can also show basic animation sequences. The circuit design incorporates additional driver circuitry to control a matrix of LEDs, and produces fast flashing colorful images to create a POV effect (POV concepts are discussed in more detail in Chapter 15). This chapter’s project shows you how you can integrate the display electronics into the fabric of a backpack to help make you more visible outside at night.
