Tests of basic numeracy are one of the most basic forms of numerical reasoning test. Typically, these are one calculation maths tests akin to those you would have done in school.

Guidance for basic numerical reasoning tests

The practice questions appear in sets of 20 questions. Each of these is followed by their respective 20 answer explanations. You are advised to:

• allow yourself 6–8 minutes to complete each set of 20 questions;
• check your answers against the answer explanations that follow the test once you have completed all 20 questions;
