Not taking it seriously
A candidate for a senior post was doing a psychometric test online in a testing suite at the offices of the potential employer. Part way through the process he managed to get the details of a test match on his screen. He did not do particularly well on the test! As well as suggesting something a bit odd about the administrative arrangements that enabled him to access sport, it was also taken as indicative of his lack of motivation for the process.
