The personality questionnaires that you will come across most commonly have relatively large numbers of scales. The Sixteen Personality Questionnaire (16PF) defines itself by its 16 scales and the Occupational Personality Questionnaire (OPQ) has 32. In Wave there is a four tier structure, with no fewer than 108 facets at the lowest level. Each of these questionnaires has the scope to produce information on a number of derivative scales, such as a variety of team types, indicating a person’s typical role in a team.
