Remote testing – how to face the online challenge
There is nothing very new about testing people remotely, with a candidate in one location linked to a distant computer system. I remember first coming across that approach in the early 1970s in the USA, where it was routinely used for the assessment of blue collar candidates for work in a factory. What is relatively new, of course, is the way in which the internet has made the delivery of tests remotely much more widespread.
