I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Verbal and non-verbal communication
Having completed the ‘Look and learn’ exercise, you’ve started to consider the concepts of ‘verbal behaviour’ and ‘non-verbal behaviour’. You’ve probably heard the terms before but have you ever used them constructively in relation to the way you come across?
Well, that’s exactly what we’re going to do here. But first let’s clarify what the two terms actually mean:
- Verbal communication = What you say and how you say it.
- Non-verbal communication = What you do and how you do it.
