Twenty prominent strategists
Many of the names on this list are practitioner academics. A few are wholly academics, whilst one or two are wholly CEOs and business leaders or entrepreneurs. What and who influences strategy is part of the problem everyone seems to face in finding a good definition. One depressing observation is that they are nearly all men. Strategy, for some reason, has yet to discover that half the world’s population are women! It may also be fairly accused of defining itself in a period of First World versus Third World economics that does not exist in our time.
