Extended and out of school provision
More and more, teaching assistants are supporting and leading sessions during out of school clubs, extended hours provision and other activities which may take place inside or outside school hours. Although it should not be a requirement of your role, the kinds of opportunities which running these activities provide could be good for your own personal and professional development and raise your profile both within the school and also the wider community.
