Give Back: You’ve Got Nothing to Lose, Only Inspired Employees to Gain

Fortune’s annual list of the 100 Best Companies to Work For indicates that social impact programs are increasing in popularity, because the fact of the matter is, great companies inspire their employees to give back. It’s not just big companies such as Intuit, Deloitte, Patagonia, and Cisco getting into the swing of bringing their human to work by giving back. Inc. magazine profiled the Best Places to Work with 500 or fewer employees and discovered that even in smaller businesses, where the focus is often on making payroll and even staying afloat, 74 percent give time off for volunteering.1

That’s a whole lot of goodwill moving through the corporate universe.
