4.1 Television Studio Centres

 

Over the last 20 years or so, many things have changed in television – more channels giving more output; digital technology providing lighter and cheaper cameras and VT; and more IT-based production, meaning that a smaller proportion of TV is made in studios. This has changed the landscape of the studio centre beyond recognition and provides a range of new ways of making TV programmes.
