Summary
Mathematics is a tool that engineers use to solve problems. Being able to use mathematics is therefore an essential skill that you must develop. This unit will provide you with sufficient mathematical knowledge for you to solve real engineering problems that you will meet in the other core units as well as the specialist units that follow. It will also provide you with a firm foundation that will enable you to progress to the core units of the BTEC National award.
