You may have heard some rumblings about HTML5. Someone may ask if your site is HTML5 compatible or if you are planning on using some of the new elements. I suspect this may leave you wondering what the heck HTML5 is and if you should be using it.

The simple answer is, right now, you don’t need to be using HTML5. It is the latest version of the HTML standard that is currently in development. That is not to say you can ignore it; in fact, you should pay close attention to HTML5 and the changes it will bring.
